Practice Policies
Effective September 25, 2026
This website provides general information and does not create a therapist-client relationship. A therapeutic relationship begins only after eligibility is confirmed and required practice documents are completed.
Services
James Bryant Therapy provides individual psychotherapy to adults by secure telehealth. For clients located within the United States, services are currently available only when the client is physically located in Florida at the time of the session. International clients may be accepted where legally and professionally permissible.
Fees and payment
The standard fee is $100 for a 50-minute individual psychotherapy session. Payment is due electronically in advance of the scheduled appointment. If a reduced fee has been separately agreed upon, that agreed fee replaces the standard fee for the applicable appointment.
James Bryant Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance plans directly. You are responsible for payment of all fees. Upon request, a superbill may be provided for you to submit independently to your insurer. A superbill may include a diagnosis and other clinical information. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, and you are responsible for confirming your own out-of-network benefits.
Cancellation and missed appointments
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or do not attend, up to 100% of your agreed session fee may be retained or charged. If you have not joined or contacted me within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.
The fee may be waived or refunded at my discretion when circumstances reasonably warrant it, including legitimate emergencies. A reduced-fee client is subject to the client's agreed reduced session rate, not the standard $100 rate.
Emergencies
James Bryant Therapy does not provide emergency or crisis services through this website or by email. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility. In the United States, you may also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Communication
Ordinary email is intended only for general administrative questions and may not be secure. Please do not use email for private or clinical information. Current clients should use the secure Sessions Health portal.
